Ceduna Online visited the Ceduna Foreshore Caravan Park on April 11 to do a live promotion of a country music band who were entertaining at the park. The band was situated in front of a very new and impressive building, and after speaking with the park managers Marty and Jodie Andrews about the building, I made a ‘note to self’ to return at another time and take a peek inside.
This week I snuck into the Ceduna Foreshore Caravan Park to have a squiz at the new amenities block along with the new camp kitchen and to see the work crew tidying up after the demolition of the past amenities block.
As you can see by the photos below the work is a great achievement and a credit to the park. The camp kitchen offers guests a spacious cooking, entertaining and socializing environment with TVs, free BBQ and swift clean up design being just a start to what this area has to offer.
On to the laundry and bathroom block which also boasts a modern and spacious design. Everything was reflecting and sparkling, shiny and lit well by natural light as I entered. Beautifully clean and absolutely spotless (I should mention I was not expected when I arrived).
I walked past the Ceduna Recycling truck, busy removing and carting away the debris from the old amenities block which is now being prepared to become more sites for the busy park.
On speaking to the managers of Ceduna Foreshore Caravan Park about the new build, both Marty and Jodie expressed generous praise for local businesses and local services and their pride in being able to depend upon their local community to meet and even exceed their needs throughout the project.
Both Marty and Jodie praised the extensive work carried out by plumber Andy Xanthopoulos, and builder Jon Mullins with the help of Don Seneca and Mitch. Electrical work was carried out by electrician Chris from Streaky Bay and E.P.C supplied the concrete. Their appreciation also extended to Ceduna Home Timber and Hardware and Ceduna Overnight Freight for required goods and delivery of goods throughout the project.
Ceduna Foreshore Caravan Park managers Marty and Jodie not only expressed their appreciation for these individual local services but also remarked how well each service networked together to create an amazing finished project that the park and their guests can enjoy for years to come.
